The other day Evan was being especially silly, so I got the camera out and took these pictures. When I take his picture he usually just smiles but this time he was making the craziest faces..

Lake Powell
Garrett's dad took us to Lake Powell a couple weeks ago. We were originally going to take Evan with us but decided at the last minute to leave him with my mom and sisters. It was the first time we had left him overnight and I hated it. I was glad though that he wasn't there (if that make any sense) just because it would have been so miserable for me and probably for him too. I would have just been worried about him being too hot or if he was going to sleep. Anyways.. it ended up being a really good trip. It was SO nice to spend time with Garrett and not have to worry about a child.
The second day we came back to camp to find our tent tipped over and filled with water from the rain. All my cloths and bedding were completely soaked. Everyone else's got a little wet but mine were by far the worst. As you can tell from the picture, I was not a happy camper. This is me on the way to the laundry mat to dry my cloths.
Leo driving the boat.. pretty scary :)
My first time seeing Rainbow Bridge.

Catch up time!
As you can tell I took a little break from blogging. Garrett has been on his break from school so we have been kind of busy and now I need to catch up. I'll start way back at the 4th... This year our 4th was different than what I am used to. We usually go to Bunkerville in the morning for breakfast and stuff but my parents went to Idaho Falls to spent it with Tianna, so Garrett and I decide to do our own thing. We went camping at my parents property on Kolob mountain. It was just one night but it was really nice to get away. Having Evan there was a little rough because he doesn't sleep well away from home but it was still pretty fun. Here are a few pictures...
We got home from camping in the afternoon for the 4th so that night we went to Garrett's brother's house for hot dogs and fireworks. It was super fun. Evan hated the fireworks but I thought they were really good this year, for St. George at least. Evan looked so cute in his American get up.. here are some pics.

Go Jazz!
The other night we had a little party at our house for the NBA draft. It was the first one I had ever watched and I've got to admit.. it was really boring. I was excited to see what happened with Jimmer though. We were all very disappointed when the Jazz didn't get him... sad day. Oh well, it was a good excuse to get together anyways :)

Finally!
Well, I finally did it. I got Evan's pictures taken. I have been meaning to since he was born, but just couldn't get myself to spend the money to actually do it. Some friends of mine just started their own photography business so I got them to do it. I thought they did a really good job. We decided to make it a surprise for Garrett for Father's Day, so we framed one for him as his gift. Anyways, they turned out really cute. Here are some of my favorites...
